      NZ GIS and geography puzzles

Made for cartographers, GIS practitioners and anyone who likes maps.

NZ GIS Coffee Break is a free collection of New Zealand geospatial crosswords covering geographic information systems, cartography, geography, local government GIS, coordinate reference systems, geodesy, surveying, GNSS, spatial analysis, remote sensing, LiDAR, photogrammetry, topographic mapping, map history and spatial databases.

The themes also range through planning, hazards, freshwater, coastal and marine geography, public health, ecology, conservation, transport, utilities, telecommunications, addressing, field GIS, OpenStreetMap, cultural mapping, electoral geography and urban form. The clues are written for working practitioners rather than specialist certification exams.

A new crossword is released at 9:00 am each New Zealand business weekday. The solution is held back until 2:00 pm that day. Older puzzles remain available in the archive, but their answers stay concealed until you deliberately reveal them.
